Cultural competence of healthcare professionals, especially nurses, has been identified as a key factor in reducing health disparities. However, despite the widespread recognition of the importance of cultural competence, curricular strategies to teach this skill have yielded mixed results. The purpose of this evidence-based practice project is to implement experiential learning strategies such as simulation, cross-cultural immersion, and service-learning to improve cultural competence in undergraduate nursing students.en_US
