dc.description.abstract	It can be difficult to make connections with faculty, especially as a relatively new librarian. This year, for Women’s History Month, the University of Texas at San Antonio Libraries hosted a Pop Up Event to promote Women in STEM. In addition to advocating for the advancement of women in STEM fields, the event opened a door for this librarian to introduce himself and the library to many faculty members, to bring students to interact with the library, and to provide social media content for outreach.	en_US
