dc.description.abstractA standard electroejaculation procedure was developed to collect semen from bush babies. The method involved a gradual increase in voltage administered by a bipolar rectal electrode from 0 to 8 v, with a stimulus duration of 1.7 sec and interval between stimuli of 0.4 sec. Ejaculation was sequential with a clear viscous seminal fluid preceeding a less viscous fluid containing some sperm, then a sperm-rich fraction. [...]
