dc.description.abstractThe primary purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between administrative tenure of school superintendents and improvement in selected factors that contribute to and influence the adaptability of a school system. This study was also concerned with obtaining profiles of selected personal and professional characteristics of the superintendents who were 'agents of change' or 'agents of resistance.'
