Does the Junior R.O.T.C. program benefit the Jefferson Davis Senior High School student?

Does the Junior R.O.T.C. Program Benefit the Jefferson Davis Senior High School Student?' is the problem that this research attempts to solve. During a study of the R. O. T. C. program it was discovered that no recent material was available on this subject. The only articles found were written more than fifteen years ago and were concerned with only certain phases of the program as main issues in the Junior R. O. T. C. controversy and a retroactive experiment on effects of military training in high school. This investigation deals with the entire R. O. T. C. program within one school, the Jefferson Davis Senior High School. Since all of the white high schools in Houston have R. O. T. C. units, this study was needed.
