Abstract
The purpose of this study was to (1) identify the orientation problems common to freshmen entering Pan American College, Edinburg, Texas, the first semester of the 1958-1959 school year; (2) to classify these problems according to frequency; and (3) to recommend how these findings may be used for a proposed orientation program in Pan American College, Edinburg, Texas. The date used in this study were obtained by the use of the Mooney Problem Check List, Form C, to discover the problems common to freshmen, and the California Test of Personality, Form AA, to determine the extent to which the students were adjusting personally and socially.
