Objectives: The purpose of this research is to determine the activity of NiO and FeO in liquid at various temperatures, and by doing so, generate a phase diagram. This diagram will be used to elucidate information about the formation and evolution of the moon. Motivations: This study takes an experimental approach to determining the activities of FeO and NiO in silicate liquids.
