Research goal: Optimize synthesis parameters to investigate the role of these parameters in the morphology of ZSM-11 catalyst. Optimizing the parameters of ZSM-11 synthesis to yield a uniform zeolite structure. Increasing sodium content led to a decrease in surface defects. As SAR is increased a more uniform structure is developed. Using an alternative Si source led to crystals with spheroidal morphology.
