Since it is the expressed attitude of many people both in the past and in the present who feel that persons who participate in religious activities differ from those who do not participate in their feeling and motives toward others, the purpose of this paper was to determine whether inmates in the penitentiary who participate in religious activities have more positive feelings toward others, and are more motivated to help others than those who do not participate in religious activities.
