LiDAR Drone Surveying near Rio El Tambor to study the 1976 earthquake of the Motagua Fault in Guatemala

Detailed mapping along the Motagua fault zone showed evidence of fault scarps (Schwartz, 1976) resulting from the 1976 earthquake on the Motagua Fault. Terraces in Rio El Tambor show slip along the fault. LiDAR drone surveys were conducted to create DEMs of Rio El Tambor.
