Education as a Fundamental Cause of Health

My project is over racial/ethnic health and educational disparities through the sociological perspective. I chose this topic because I have an interest in both the education and health fields. In my Sociology of Health Care course that was taught by Dr. Kate Anderson, my now mentor, I learned that racial/ethnic minorities are in poorer health when compared to white populations. The biggest influence to this phenomenon is socioeconomic status.
