Experiments have been done to measure the electron temperatures of a magnetically confined pulsed plasma under various operating conditions. The work used a Langmuir probe as the diagnostic technique for data gathering. It was found that, although the parameters of the initial plasma are drastically changed, those of the trapped plasma change little. Explanations for this phenomena are given.
