The purpose of this study was to determine the relationships between academic achievement and adult student satisfaction with academic processes, non-academic processes, program planning, and administrative operations of adult students attending weekend college classes. The collection of data was accomplished through the use of the Student Reactions to College questionnaire. Only students enrolled for the Spring semester 1979 and had attended Texas Southern University Weekend College previously participated in this study. The sample of this study consisted of 344 students. Hypothesis testing was achieved through the derivation of the simple linear correlation co-efficient. A significant negative relationship was found between academic achievement and adult student satisfaction with academic processes. No significance and no relationships were found in the analysis of the relationship between academic achievement and adult student satisfaction with non-academic processes, program planning activities, administrative operations and overall satisfaction as they relate to weekend college programming.
