Abstract

While studies that focus on immigrant workers and their well-being are growing, systematic reviews that summarize the disparities are lacking. This systematic literature review was conducted to identify and synthesize research that examined and reported significant disparities in immigrant workers' psychological well-being. Reviewing 21 relevant articles showed that immigrants' mental health was significantly lower in comparison to their non-immigrant counterparts. The reasons behind these disparities are linguistic barriers and discrimination in the workplace. Solutions suggested by the reviewed articles include creating supportive environments and diverse workplaces.
