dc.description.abstractLatino parents become more involved in the schooling of their children once they have been trained in the implementation of parental involvement strategies. Parents who received training in parental involvement were compared with parents who did not receive training. The training was conducted by personnel of the Parent Institute for Quality Education (PIQE).
