This is an oral history interview with Virginia Tanueco as part of the Hurricane Harvey Oral History Project. Mrs. Tanueco was interviewed on March 29, 2018 in her home. Mrs. Tanueco was a victim who did not suffer much during the worst days of Hurricane Harvey, but was forced to evacuate due to threat of presumed floodwaters coming. This interview depicts the experience, as contrast to most, the view of one who has not been so badly affected by the hurricane due to proper infrastructure planning.en_US
