dc.description.abstractThere has been lots of discussion regarding several prominent members of Hollywood accused of sexual assault in which sparked several different movements. These movements have caused the issue of Sexual Consent to be brought to the forefront. The aim of this qualitative study is to identify the major factors that influence differing views of consent for college students. Undergraduate and graduate students 18–25 years of age were interviewed. The semi-structured interviews were coded and analyzed to determine similarities and differences between participant responses. It is hoped that this study will give a general understanding of consent and the factors that help to contribute to its meaning and messages.
