Answers to the following questions were sought: 1. Do selected personality traits and/or teaching behaviors differentiate between student teachers interning in secondary schools and those interning in elementary schools? 2. Do selected personality traits and/or teaching behaviors differentiate between student teachers interning in open-area schools and those interning in traditional schools? 3. Do selected personality traits, grade level of school, and/or type of school (open-area/traditional) differentiate between student teachers when the degree of indirect-direct teaching behavior is used as the criterion? 4. Are there significant relationahips among situational variables (level of school, type of school), personality traits, and the interactive teaching behaviors of student teachers? [...]
