E.; Rhodes, William Jack; Carmical, LaVerne L.; Metcalf, Thomas B.This investigation was made to study the effect of student teaching on the attitudes of the student teacher. Attention also was given to determining the relationship between attitude changes among student teachers assigned to different size classifications of cooperating schools and to the influence of the cooperating teachers on the attitudes of the student teachers. Included in the study were all of the agricultural education student teachers enrolled during the Spring of 1965 at Texas A&M University and at Sam Houston State College, 66 student teachers in both institutions, as well as 47 cooperating teachers in 41 cooperating public secondary schools in Texas. An evaluation of either of the institutions was not intended.
