Blue Sky Laws were enforced by state regulators to increase transparency between issuers of securities and buyers to decrease fraudulent security sales. This research also shows how the companies that filed financial documents were impacted by the Great Depression, since that is when the Blue Sky Laws were in effect.enThe author of this work is the copyright owner.
