The purpose of our study was to examine how Stegastes beebei and Stegastes arcifrons are distributed throughout the various near shore habitats as well as how the two species interact with Eucidaris galapagensis. We found a strong preference for rugose and rocky habitat in both species, while Stegastes beebei was distributed across all habitat types. Eucidaris galapagensis density was positively correlated with S. beebei density but negatively correlated with S. arcifrons density.en-USThe author of this work is the copyright owner.
