After operating the network for 7 weeks, it expanded the number of active stations from four to eight for a bibliographic instruction class presented to sophomore medical students on 11/3/89. The class of 140 students was divided into six sections that used the system at six separate times during the day. These brief periods of intensive activity indicated that the CD Net system can be used to successfully support up to 8 simultaneous users.en-USArticle
