Being able to see distinctions of energy values is important in for any detector, but especially important when there is a lot of static in the background; such as in the case of detecting neutrinos or WIMPs (Weakly Interacting Massive Particles, the leading contender for dark matter). In this poster, I will discuss important factors that determine the effectiveness of THGEMs including their geometry and operation voltage.en-USThe author of this work is the copyright owner.
