This study presents patterns of income and expenditures in the music departments of the state colleges of Texas so that judgements might be formed as to budgetary justification with respect to standards in: A- Program. B- Staffing. C- Finance. D- Facilities. Scope and Limitations of the Study. The curricula, budgets, salaries, and facilities of the eighteen state supported colleges of Texas in 1959-60 will be included in the actual study.
