Abstract
The problem of this study was to report on the ability of primary grade teachers to observe and report classroom behaviors. The problem was formulated in terms of the following sub-problems: 1. To identify functional and non-functional pupil behaviors. 2. To develop an instrument designed for reporting objective observation of classroom behaviors. 3. To provide procedural patterns for referrals and recommendations by teachers. 4. To use observational materials as a means of assisting the teachers participating in the study. 5. To discover changes in teacher ability to observe and report classroom behaviors of pupils.
