Purpose- Crowdfunding is an alternative to the traditional financing methods used by small businesses and entrepreneurs. This low-cost method is easily accessible and gaining in popularity among small businesses. This research aims to expand the knowledge on the influencing factors of crowdfunding success in restaurants. Therefore, allowing the future of entrepreneurs to better understand how to structure their crowdfunding campaign. Research Questions-Will a gender-diverse founding team influence their crowdfunding success? Will the prior food and beverage experience moderate the relationship between the diversity of the founding team and crowdfunding success?
