A study of concepts for democratic living as presented in social studies textbooks in grades four through eight in Brookshire School, Brookshire, Texas

It was the purpose of this study (1) to explore the principles, the plans, and the goals of democratic living in the Brookshire area; and (2) to see wherein these principles, plans, and goals are presented in the social studies textbooks used in grades four through eight in the Brookshire Elementary School.
