Abstract
The problem of this study was to determine the effects of a class in human relations upon a group of seventh grade students in three areas: achievement motivation, scholarship, and behavior. Two groups of seventh grade students were selected for the study. The experimental group consisted of twenty-three students with an average IQ score of 107. They were two receive instruction in human relations for eighteen weeks. The control group consisted of nineteen seventh grades who had an average IQ score of 110. This group was to receive no instruction in human relations. with this one exception both groups studied the same subjects. [...]
