The instruments employed in gathering data were: Survey of Teacher Use of Community Resources, Community Resources Inventory, Field Trip Plan Sheet, and Resource Persons Inventory. Interview-visitation, recorded observation, correspondence, and inventory methods were used to gather data. A pilot project was used for procedural try-out of the study.
