This oral history is an interview with Michael Gudalj and his experiences during and after Hurricane Harvey. He was interviewed on March 25th, 2018, at his home where he told some stories about past experiences with natural disasters and how they compared to Hurricane Harvey. He also gave insight on volunteering and donating goods in his community and how it has pros and cons and how some people reacted to charity, as well as personal views on recovery and damages to his home and stories of his friends home damage. However, this oral history primarily highlights volunteering and donations and the intent behind it as well as people not giving shelters and individuals specific things they need creating issues with peoples health and wellness.en_US
