Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine if the effects of supervision on subordinates could be a beneficial experience for improving teaching skills. This application of supervision was examined in respect to anxiety levels and changes in personality manifestations in the supervised faculty. Research Questions. 1. Will there be significant differences between the anxiety levels of those professors supervised for the first time and those professors who have been previously supervised? 2. Will supervision produce any changes in personality manifestations in professors? 3. Will supervision produce less anxiety in professors who are experienced or in those professors who lack experience? (Experience measured in years of teaching.) 4.
