Abstract
Thiosemi carbazones of pyridine-2-carboxaldehyde, as well as those of pyruvic aldehyde, have been previously investigated. Some of these have been demonstrated to possess oncolytic activities when tested on mouse tumor systems. Six new phosphorus analogs of the thiosemi carbazones (a)(b)(c) including a phosphorus analog of the pyruvic aldehyde bisthiosemi carbazone, where R and R[prime]=0Me, OEt, OPr, R[double prime]=2-pyridinecarboxaldehyde, R[triple prime]=0Et, Ph were synthesized.[...]
