Abstract

This study was a survey of University of Houston graduates (classes 1958 through 1962) who were serving as public Junior high school teachers. The survey sought the graduate's appraisal of: (1) his pre-service education as preparation for meeting his personal and professional needs, (2) his In-service educational needs, and (3) the degree of specialization desirable in the pre-service preparation of public junior high school teachers.
