Abstract
This research was to measure the_variation of the corneal contour throughout the day by using a photo- keratoscopic system of analysis, which involved the computation of the curvature of the anterior corneal surface in various positions along four semi-meridians. The use of an advanced system of data analysis allowed any subtle changes in corneal shape to be examined. The system used was spectral analysis. There were two subjects involved in the study with photokeratoscopic examinations at 09:00, 12:00, 15:00, 18:00, 21:00 and 24:00 hours for 28 consecutive days. The spectral analysis revealed no cyclic changes or biorhythms in corneal shape with time for these subjects.
