dc.description.abstractInadequacy of the Sondhi tube in directly measuring the human glottal wave has been pointed out. A simple, quasi-static vocal tract configuration, together with its simulated models, have been introduced to make such a direct measurement possible. Theoretical work based on such a configuration has been carried out and has been verified by experimental works and numerical computations.
