Abstract

The first essay or chapter uncovers the possibilities present in how small changes in factor endowments (commodity prices) effect outputs (factor wages) in a three factor, two good, general equilibrium trade model. The following chapter shows what may happen to factor wages with changing factor endowments in a four factor, three good model. Finally a review of the recent literature in international economics is presented, concentrating mainly on the result of adding one factor to the standard two factor, two good model.
