Abstract
Jergins Oil Field occupies the upthrown part of a z-shaped subsurface structure. The production comes from sands at the top of Frio, from an area of about 318 acres. The peculiar thing about the subsurface structure of this field is it's downthrow to the northwest which is unusual in areas near the Gulf Coast.
