The design of an executive program for use in real-time data acquisition and control is described. Implementation of the program in Motorola 6800 assembly language is provided. The program is simple, compact and provides all essential services required for maintenance of multitask environment. All requirements for integration into a system are. discussed. The executive hrs been implemented, tested, and used in two sal-time supervisory control systems.
