Abstract

One who is interested in writing cannot escape viewing the world and his experiences in it through the filter of his own personality. What is most meaningful to a writer, then, is not always apparent to him until he has been able to look somewhat objectively on a representative sampling of his work. I found in this collection that may areas of concentration of the past several years have been three, which I arbitrarily named "Literary Muses," "For Friends and Then Some," and "On My Own." [...]
