Abstract
Fluorescence microscopy is used to visually enhance 3-dimensional features at single-molecule levels. Single molecule imaging presents a subset of fluorescence microscopy techniques that uses fluorescent tags to detect and analyze individual single molecules. This method allows the movement of single molecules to be visualized with high signal-to-noise without disrupting the physiological conditions of a biological system. In this study, MATLAB is used to run complex equations to find precise measurements of single-molecule positions and reconstruct them so they can be seen like they would in a fluorescence microscope.
