dc.description.abstractThis thesis presents a program to evaluate uniform pseudo-random number generators. It presents various methods of generation and the tests available to test the adequacy of the methods. The program is employed to test a number of frequently used generators and the results are reported. The strengths and weaknesses of the programmed tests are also discussed.
