Abstract
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between students' perceptions of their teachers' classroom behavior and their teachers' preference for classroom management behavior. Instrumentation. The Teacher Opinion Questionnaire is a self-report questionnaire which was used to determine teachers' preference of classroom management behavior. The Pupil Observation Survey provided a total measure of students' perceptions of teachers' classroom behavior. Procedure and Sample. Both teacher and student instruments were administered during a regular class period. Data were collected during a six-week period of the first semester of the 1976-77 school year.
