Abstract

A quantum mechanical theory of relativistic spinless particles, based upon the Born interpretation of the wavefunction, is constructed on L (x,ct). A generalized Schrtidinger equation is derived having a Hermitian Hamiltonian and the concept of superposition of mass states is introduced. Charge conjugation is discussed and a nontrivial framework for charged and neutral particles is provided. The Klein paradox is resolved and an experiment is suggested. A direct test of the theory is presented.
