Abstract

Problem. This study was made to determine the relationship of the sizes and wealth of schools and the Job of the school superintendent and to determine his status in the schools located within a one-hundred mile radius of Houston, Texas. Specific hypotheses investigated are as follows: The sizes and wealth of schools are related to superintendent's jobs. The sizes and wealth of schools are related to the use of new administrative practices. The sizes end wealth of schools are related to the extent of delegation of responsibilities.
