A method of program translation is described in this thesis. It deals with how a program with GOTO statements can be translated into a structured one without GOTO statements. With regular expression representation of a program and some translation rules described herein, the program translation can be achieved through the use of programming constructs, IF P THEN S1 ELSE S2 and WHILE P DO S.
