Abstract

The study was concerned with recording pertinent facts concerning the Vidor School and its development. The school was traced from the earliest indications of free public education in the Vidor School District which, assuredly, served as a basis for the present educational system, and will, no doubt, have great influence upon the future. The purposes of this study are threefold: (1), to find facts relating to the Vidor School System; (2), to help students have a better understanding of, and appreciation for, their school; and (3), to leave a record of the school for future reference.
