Abstract
The article focuses on aligning Institutional goals and practice in the U.S. and the role of admissions professionals in the U.S. It mentions need for adopting a strategy for helping admissions professionals aimed at encouraging colleges to be self-reflective across interrelated admissions policies and practices. It also mentions need for establishing a criteria for judging the academic qualifications of applicants and information on the National Association for College Admission Counseling.
