    Abstract
From 2000-2011 the average number of research publications on the effects on yoga and trauma was 15%; from 2012-2017, the average was 86%, showing a steady increase. Yoga, overall also reduces symptoms of burnout, stress, anxiety, and compassion fatigue in caregivers around the globe. Yoga, including meditation and mindfulness is a promising intervention in alleviating caregiver burnout, increasing coping skills, and promoting general well-being in caregivers.
