Abstract
Dynamic simulation languages yield otherwise unobtainable solutions to nonlinear dynamic problems of interest in civil engineering fields of process analysis, vibrations, controls, and, more recently, in ecological and sociological areas. Complex syntax, however, inhibits the wider use of such languages as CSMP, and excessive compiler size inhibits use of some others, such as DYNAMO. This paper presents a computer program which accepts DYNAMO text, the standard dynamic language of Urban and Industrial planning, and makes it executable in CSMP, a language widely used in technical areas. Almost every advantage of each language is thus made available to the user.
