Lipid distribution and metabolism in the fungi

Hydrocarbon and fatty acids extracted from the spores of the phytopathogenic fungi Ustilago maydis, Sphacelotheca reiliana. Urocystis agropyri, Tilletia caries, Tilletia controversa, Tilletia foetida, Pucclnia graminis tritici, Puccinia stripiformis, Rhizopus arrhizus, Aspergillus niger, and Curvularia sp. were analyzed by gas chromatography.
